Swapping links
Swapping links is an important way to increase traffic to your site(s). PseudoTUBE contains an automatic link swap system. You don’t need to worry about the technical aspects. E-mail other webmasters and tell them about your link swap page. They can do all of the work for you. Over time your link swap page will fill up.
If you don’t want to save other people swapping links with you then you can turn off the link swap system from the PseudoTUBE manager (options > menus on/off)
How to set up a store front
All users who upgrade to a Business or Enterprise account have access to the store menu. This allows you to add products to your site and increase your potential earnings. The products are affiliated items so you don’t need to stock or ship them. We recommend using Amazon Associates. Upload an image of the product, this must be 200 x 200 pixel and looks best on a white background. Enter a tite, description and finally include your affiliate link as required.
Using Google Adsense with PseudoTUBE
If you wish to use Google Adsense or other Pay Pay Click advert systems with your PseudoTUBE site then you will need to upgrade to an Enterprise account.
Why do you need to upgrade
We have to make some money at some stage. Our servers cost £3000 each per year and back up hardware is about £1000. But the important reason is you need to use your own domain name. If you use a free PseudoTUBE domain name the Pay Per Click systems think everyone’s site is the same site. This means your site will show the wrong adverts and if someone else abuses the network it could harm your account. When you use your own domain name we have extra costs for hosting the domain and we have to manually connect it to the server. The final reason is our customers build better quality sites if they pay. Totally free systems attract lazy people who don’t generate quality sites.
Adding your site’s logo
Your logo must be 128 x 40 pixels. Before you ask, “can it be bigger” the answer is no. If you have a huge logo you will loose space for videos and adverts. Design your logo in a paint program and upload it.
Advanced users may like to have a transparent background on their logo. All you need to do is make your logo with a single solid colour for the background, upload it to the PseudoTUBE manager and then click on the background and you will see what the transparent version look like, if you like it, you can save it. For best results use a gray background.
Buying a domain name
Enterprise users can connect their own domain name to their PseudoTUBE video website. You buy this from any provider of your choice, we suggest godaddy.com. You then need to set your DNS Name Servers to point to our server, the details are:

We can help any Enterprise customer with this process if it is something you have not done before.
When you are selecting a domain name we suggest you pick a domain name that matches the search terms you would like to optimize. For example, a site on fishing could be fishingtips.com, fishingadvice.net, fishinghelp.org etc.
