You can make a profile page for a website on Facebook, select `Ads and Pages` and `create a page`. There is a special section for websites. You need to make an effort here so set up a page and post some videos and pictures and start some discussion threads. When all of this is in place become a fan of your own website. Finally email all your friends and ask them to become a fan. Everyone who joins will now have a link to your page on their profile and then things can spread from there. You can also post images from your fan page to your profile and friend's profiles. You need to come back to this page now and again to add new content until it starts to run on its own. Expect to generate 3 SVPD.

Email signatures - $182.50 of free marketing:
Add your web address to your email signature. This only takes a few minutes to set up and will remind everyone you email about your site. Ask your friends to do the same, every time you get an email from a friend without a signature ask them to plug your site. Expect to generate 1 SVPD.

Social bookmarks: $2,737.50 of free marketing:
Join the leading social book marking sites and add your own site. All of these systems are similar, you add your site and write a short description. Other people will then see your review and visit your site. Some of these systems will give you over 100 visitors within a few hours and then drop to lower amounts. If you have friends who own sites then you should ask each other to plug your sites. This will generate a short term spike but will add some more traffic longer term. It is really worth teaming up with some friends who run sites, find 5 friends with sites and everyone adds all 5 sites to the following 30 social book marking sites. Add your site to all of the following directories. These are different to search engines, you add your site to a specific section so it works similar to the yellow pages. Visit each one in turn and add your site. You can get added to these for free but you may have to hunt around for the free option! Link swaps (people you don't know) - $16,425 of free marketing:
This is the most important part of growing your sites traffic and also the most time consuming; this will be what separates you from all the competition. Pick a word that you think matches your site and enter it into a search engine. Now one by one contact the webmaster of the first 100 sites found. Most sites will have a contact us link with either a feedback form or email address. Send a message similar to this:

Hello,

I found your site by searching for the keyword "jokes" and would like to swap links with you. I also have a site on the topic of "jokes". My site has over 3000 page views per day so should provide you with some free traffic.

To save time you can cut & paste your message into the feedback forms or email system. Swapping links does two very import things, 1) it increases your traffic 2) it increase your page rank. Your page rank is what Google uses to rank your page for searches. So if you keep swapping links, over time your site will rise to the top of Google. This process can take up to 2 years but when you reach the top you get a lot of traffic.

Viral video uploads - $14,052.50 for free marketing:
This you can scale up as much you want but for this exercise let's set a target of 100 videos. You should have your 100 videos from the last 2 weeks of requesting them. Then use Microsoft Windows Movie Maker to add a title screen and end screen with your web address to each of these videos. You should also place text through out the videos duration along the top of the video with your web address. Now upload these videos to Youtube. Make sure you include your web address on your Youtube profile page. If you own a video camera then film videos yourself, remember sites like Revver and Metacafe will pay you if you have a popular video.

You can repeat this on other big video sites such as Revver and Metacafe. The key part is getting your web address on the video and on the profile pages. If the videos you upload matches the theme of your PseudoTUBE site then all the better. Please do not break any copyright laws.
